The University of Michigan will be holding its 34th annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Symposium at Hill Auditorium on Jan. 20 starting at 10 a.m. Known for her work in the fields of social, racial, economic and gender justice, political activist, author and educator Angela Davis will be delivering the keynote address.

To commemorate the legacy of civil rights leader the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., the University of Michigan’s 2020 MLK Symposium will focus on the complexities associated with diversity and highlighting the diversity within marginalized communities.
The University of Michigan will host it’s second annual First-Gen Student week, October 28 – November 1. The week-long series of events are in support of first-generation college student success.
