John Rodriguez

John Rodriguez is the Strategic Communications Manager with the Office of the Vice Provost for Diversity Equity and Inclusion. John has been with the University of Michigan since 2014, having served in communications roles within the College of Engineering and at the Office of Academic Multicultural Initiatives before his appointment with ODEI. John has co-chaired various committees, including the 2022 MLK Symposium and the 2022 Juneteenth Symposium.

John is a multimedia creator with a skill set in both traditional and digital media forms. His work is tailored toward storytelling and the exploration of cultural representation. John holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UCLA.
