Chad Heiser began his career with the University of Michigan in 2010. In 2011 he started to work in Sponsored Programs, focusing on Sponsored Research Projects. He set up shortcodes, invoicing schedules, and financial report schedules to ensure timely submissions and he also assisted departments with submitting financial reports to Sponsors. He reviewed all journal entries, vouchers greater than $10k, and effort changes past 120 days for UM and Sponsor compliance that hit his assigned set group of Schools/Colleges.
In 2016 Chad moved to the School of Education (SOE) where he was the Financial Specialist for all of SOE’s sponsored projects. Chad worked with faculty, staff, and students to monitor their sponsored project’s financials as well as to ensure they were compliant with U and Sponsor guidelines.
In 2022 Chad moved to ODEI to serve as the financial analyst for business activities related to all funding sources in OAMI and CEO.
