Celebrate the Achievements of the Class of 2023 with Cultural Celebrations

students celebrating at multicultural graduation ceremonies.

In addition to the University of Michigan’s spring commencement ceremony, the Office of Academic Multicultural Initiatives (OAMI) and the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (ODEI), will host seven multicultural graduations in Spring 2023 to celebrate the many accomplishments of our students and their support communities.

These celebrations are part of the broader commencement experience and mark a tradition of valuing the strengths and contributions of diverse cultural groups to our University community.

We invite all undergraduate, graduate and professional students to participate in these celebrations.
