DE&I Chats – Episode 01: Martin Luther King Day

Psychology Department, Christina Robinson

As Chief Diversity Officer of the University of Michigan, I am extraordinarily proud of the DE&I strategic plan and the efforts of so many to make our university community a more diverse, equitable and inclusive environment. One of the most rewarding aspects of this position is the opportunity to engage with faculty, staff, and students as we strive to achieve this common goal.

As part of a long-term, ongoing conversation on issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, both at the University of Michigan and the larger world, this blog functions as a channel of engagement with one another. In addition to exchanging my thoughts and ideas with all of you, I will also invite guest contributors to participate in support of the “Many Voices, Our Michigan,” concept surrounding DE&I.

I welcome and encourage each of you to share your thoughts and feedback, as every voice contributes towards a community where we all have the opportunity to succeed.
